Winry sighed and decided it was probably best to tell him before things got rough. “I’ll put it this way…” She looked up at him. “When you don’t have someone of your own, you have to satisfy your needs somehow right?”
“Oh…I see…”, he said with an embarrassed sigh, rubbing the back of his head.

Winry laughed into his shoulder and fell back on the pillow. “This has truly been an up and down day.” She sighed, reaching over to her nightstand and lighting a cigarette.
He chuckles as he lays down next to her. “Amen” He stops for a second and laughs at his unintentional joke. He puts his hands behind his head.
She took a long drag and blew out the smoke in rings, shaking her head with a smile at his pun. “So what now?” She asked thoughtfully and looking up at the ceiling, and sticking the cigarette back in her mouth. The smoke curled up into the air in slow smoky swirls as she laid there, thinking. “With all those men dead he’ll be either hiding or looking for me. I bet my money on hiding.”
“We have to kill him. They’ll be all over us and they’ll go after your family. We have to tie that loose end for good”

“W-WHOA!”, he said as he fell. He blushed hard at her and looked at her. “W-what happened?”
Winry looked down at him, tears brimming in her eyes and a smile on her face. “Don’t be stupid! You know what happened!” She pulled him up in a hug as she straddled his lap. “Thank you…so much…”
He blushes hard at her, hugging her back. “N…no problem, Winry…”, he said quietly.

He laughs as he gets up. “Fair enough, I suppose” He heads out.
As they made their way out of the house and onto the street, she began to walk to the hardware store for her tool. Once or twice, she caught the eye of a familiar man and they either winked or smirked at her. She painfully remembered who they were and kept walking.
Ender rose an eyebrow at them, wanting to incinerate them. “Who’re those guys?”
Winry looked up to Ender with darkened cheeks and then looked back ahead. “Uhm…past…things…”
